@Amir: Thanks Amir. Yes, these photo were taken at Hokkaido. In summer, we can see the firefly here.

Love the way the trees on the left and right bend towards each other sheltering the leafless branch in the centre of the stream. Poetic shot, Makoto. Thanks for visiting my photoblog. Could I ask when is the best time to visit Hokkaido?

Your orchids series is really nice!

Hokkaido has beautiful 4 seasons.
January & February : You can see the snow, and enjoying to play with it. We have the Snow(Ice) Festival in this time. But too cold :)
April & May: We enjoying the cherry blossom and other flowers.
June, July & August : Summer is not too hot, in Hokkaido. Very nice season to take photo.
October : You can see the beautiful autumn colors. This is my favorite season.

Which do you like?

Thank you, Makoto. I have always been attracted to the koyu of autumn. I think the scenery must be so beautiful at that time. I hope to be able to visit Hokkaido one day soon. Please don't apologise for your English. I understand you perfectly and you speak from the heart, most fluently.
